Context and Business Need

Diageo India wanted to strengthen the leadership pipeline within its Sales organisation by identifying high-potential talent early and accelerating their readiness for larger, more strategic roles through a structured assessment center and a leadership development journey.

How InvokHR Helped

InvokHR partnered with Diageo India to design and deliver an Assessment Center for identification of high-potential employees and  Leadership Development journey for the Sales organisation, delivering:

Virtual Assessment Center combining psychometric and behavioural assessment tools with structured technical simulations to evaluate leadership potential
A blend of technology, assessment expertise, and skilled facilitation to uncover and validate high-potential talent within the sales talent pool
Tailored Leadership Development curriculum aligned to the business context and role requirements of the Sales function
Quarterly learning modules with a blend of onsite workshops, practice assignments, reading material
Inclusion of one module as a residential MDP in XLRI to add the conceptual frameworks along with practical insights
Program management of the cohort on a LMS with relevant metrics

Business Impact

Within 18 months of the first batch, nearly 40% of participants had moved into larger roles or earned promotions. The programme received excellent feedback from both participants and leadership, has since become a regular capability-building initiative with multiple runs, and inspired a similar programme for the junior sales organisation. Following the successful implementation of the Assessment Center and Development Programme for the Sales function, a similar initiative was created for the Supply Chain Management (SCM) function. A customized programme was subsequently designed and delivered to address the unique competency and development needs of SCM professionals.
